Czech scientists have developed a model of a drug for Angelman syndrome, a so far incurable genetic disease that affects over 500,000 people worldwide. Affected children have a happy expression on their faces, which is why they are nicknamed "angelic". Nevertheless, he suffers from mental and physical retardation, epileptic seizures and other problems.

Behind the development of the drug lies the powerful story of the Hajgajd family, who, as soon as they heard the overwhelming news about their son's diagnosis, did not hesitate, immediately a week later they began to do everything to secure a cure for their son Olík and, in fact, for all sick people around the world. They approached Czech scientists, put years of work and all their family savings into it... And when Czech scientists start something, help is already on the way. They have completed the first phase of drug development. Czech patients will then have priority in treatment with the registration of the drug in the Czech Republic.

There is only a small "trifle" left, to collect 22 million crowns from the public collection, which are needed to test the drug and all the registration procedures.
